“Built in neo-Byzantine style, the Maglavit Monastery, "the place of man's meeting with God", is superb and impresses with the grandeur of the construction, but also with the exceptionally well-made interior paintings. Located in a forest near the Danube, Maglavit Monastery is a place of worship where I felt wonderful. Here I found peace, love, tranquility. In the church yard is the tomb of Petrache Lupu, and nearby is the place called "La salcie", where he met Dumezeu. I was very impressed by the Maglavit Monastery. I will definitely come back to this gracious place.”
